Kilcock Irish Open Champs 2017 !

Congratulations to Kilcock Demons are are Irish Open Division 1 Champions for 2017.

We hosted this years competition.   There were over 230 players and another 100 coaches and supporters from 33 teams including  6 from GB and 7 from Northern Ireland.    Its a national event organised by Kilcock on behalf of Canoeing Ireland/National Canoe Polo Committee and has rotated between Enniskillen, Galway, Longford for the last 10 years, so it was really great to see it back in Kilcock.

Kilcock had 6 teams entered in this years competition, and our teams were kindly sponsored by Kilcloon Credit Union.

The competition really was a great success, a lovely atmosphere in the town, and all 4 pitches on both sides of the bridge were buzzing all weekend.
